Trang Doan Memorial Scholarship Fund

Trang Doan was an international student at Boise State University who was tragically killed on January 24 coming home from a Student Leadership Retreat held jointly with Boise State and Idaho State Universities. She had worked as the office assistant for the Women's Center & Cultural Center for nearly two years and served as an officer in the International Student Association, Vietnamese Student Association and FILAMO.

Trang was from Viet Nam and had lived in the United States for five years. Her dream was for the Cultural Center to be a vibrant, active place where students from all over the world could celebrate their differences and their commonalities. Funds contributed to the Trang Doan Memorial Fund will go to a scholarship for an international student who demonstrates the values that she held so dear.
