I'm from Shanghai, China. I've been in Boise for about 4 years. I was proud to pick up English really fast, which has helped avoid a lot of inconvenience throughout the years. Being able to speak English provided me a lot of opportunities to learn and experience things. It's going to be my second year coming up as a International Business Major student. I enjoy every single minute on campus. I feel really lucky to have the chance to work at the Cultural Center. This provides me the opportunity to be more involved in school activities.

I have been a student here at Boise State University since Fall semester of 2005. I graduated from Glenns Ferry High School in May of that same year. There I was involved with the club Future Hispanic Leaders of America (F.H.L.A). Glenns Ferry High is a very small school and BSU has thousands of students, which was quite a change for me. Now being here at BSU, I have been or are involved with Organizacion de Estudiantes Latino-Americanos (OELA), Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers (SHPE), and Movimiento Estudiantil Chicano/a de Aztlan (MEChA). Being involve on campus has giving me the chance to learn many things. It has also given me the chance to meet many people and travel to different places, I would have not been able to go to. By working at the Cultural Center I have gotten to learn more about the organizations on the campus and learn many other skills, which help me now and will help me in the future.
